Eduardo was born in El Corona, Los Santos, in 1990. His father, Jose Rivera, was the leader of the Southside Locotes 13. Jose formed the gang back in 1997, when Jose was only seven years old. Eduardo was Joses only son, and he didn't have any siblings. The gang was started by Jose and some of his close friends, who also were of hispanic origin. The gangs member count grew rapidly within three years, and by that time, Southside Locotes was one of the leading drug dealing gangs in all of Los Santos. When Eduardo was ten years old, he was a drug dealer with one of his close friends Angel, who was shot dead later by an enemy gang. At that time, Eduardo was the most trusted youngen of the Southside Locotes, mainly because his dad was the leader of the Southside Locotes, but also because he dedicated his life to the gang. He participated in many of the gang activites, such as shoot-outs and big drug dealings. He needed to learn everything about the gang, incase his father got shot, then he was the one to take over and lead the gang, even though he was only ten years old. He also ran many errands for the gang, mostly to get more respected by the older gang members. As time passed, the member count grew. At the time Eduardo was 16, the gang has reached about one hundred known gang members. One day, there was going to be a big thing going down, where almost all members had to participate. It was a huge drug deal meeting, and Eduardo was going to be at the meeting too. When the meeting started, all gang members where told to stay outside of the big storage house where the meeting was held, while Jose and the leader from the other gang was talking in privacy. Suddenly, gunshots were heard, and a big shootout started. Eduardo ran to the room where the two leaders were having their meeting, and he saw his fathers dead body laying on the floor with his eyes wide open, and with gun shot wounds on his forehead. Eduardo only thought about was revenge, so he ran after the leader of the other gang. Eduardo was strapped, and he started shooting at the leader. A little shootout happened between Eduardo and the leader, ending up in Eduardo shooting him in his chest. Afterwards, Eduardo quickly ran to the shootout between the gang members, only to see that many of his own men had fallen. In his rage, he started shooting at the other members, ending up in Southside Locotes winning, but only with seven gang members alive. They all ran up to Eduardos father, and it was obvious that he was dead. He had a bullet planted in his forehead, and three other bullets seemed to had gone through his shirt, but luckily, Jose was wearing body armor. But the shot in the head was the wound that had caused his death. Eduardo only thought about revenge to the enemy gang, for his father and for Southside Locotes, the gang his father started. Eduardo knew he was the new leader, and at the age of 21, the task could be difficult.

Recruitment

Recruitment for Southside Locotes 13 is done by In-character methods. You have to roleplay your way inside the faction, slowly getting known around other gang members. Do not approach high-ranked members of the gang, start out by role-playing with some of the lower ranks, and after that, you'll get introduced to the higher ranks. You will not get an invite straight away after a week. The recruitment process can take everything from one month to a year, depending how well you roleplay. Any leveled players have the same chance of getting invited to the gang.
